Fitness Kickboxing has been proven to be safe and very effective. Light use of bag striking will get you in shape fast without the fear of getting hit. We use real punching bags and resistance exercises for real results.

Do I need any equipment?
You will need hand protection. A variety of boxing gloves are available at the gym. A towel is also recommended.

I’m a beginner… Is it too advanced for me?
No. Our classes are designed for students of all levels and you can train at your own pace. We suggest starting slow and gradually building your way up. It will be challenging, but anyone can jump right in and start. The more you do it, the easier it will get.

Do I have to take off my shoes?
Taking off your shoes is highly recommended, but optional. You’ll want a comfortable athletic shoe if you decide to keep them on, but please do not wear them outside. We like to keep our mats clean!

Should I eat before I come to class?
Yes, something small an hour or two before class. A banana is a great pre-workout snack. Drink water throughout the day.

Will this cause me to gain muscle and get bulky?
No, this type of exercise is designed to tone and condition.
